Nege is one part of the Nege & Ju concept and this is the day time identity of the space, a European bistro style setting set in the quaint Lodhi Colony area of Lutyen’s Delhi. The space is a light airy Mediterranean yet city like space with white wood paneling, bright artworks and flush with ample day light making it the perfect spot to step in for a relaxed, yet fun lunch afternoon.
Central to the Nege idea is a comfort yet classy lunch menu designed by our chef team led by Ravi Shukla who uses the fines ingredients to create a healthy, fresh and delicious set of dishes which are sure to mesmerize you on both the visual and taste fronts. The menu comprises European classics as well as some unique twists to other favorites in order to keep a fine balance between modernity and timelessness of cuisine.
The best in class ingredients, the highest standards in sourcing and the use of specialized skill and techniques makes for a wonderful dining experience at Nege which has been designed to pair with a wide selection of wines as well as an innovative cocktail menu which is seasonal and offers an interesting aspect of duality with classics and their variations on being offered.
Both the European and Asian menus at Nege & Ju are modern, replete with comforting favourites and some unusual pairings to keep the diner guessing and excited. From Rajasthani natal plums or hibiscus from Uttar Pradesh, micro-lot coffee from the Himalayas to greens grown in the restaurant's terrace herb garden, every ingredient has been handpicked and carefully sourced, or made from scratch in-house, keeping in mind seasonality and sustainability. The two kitchen teams, European and Asian, are also completely separate, as are the ingredients and plating. The switch-over applies to the menus as well, European being served exclusively by day, and Asian exclusively at night. Thus ensuring that everything will be freshly prepared only for that meal.
